In this great video of Pantene (Yes, the company that makes shampoo), we see men and women do the same yet the actions of men are seen as normal, and those of women as negative.
Why?
Pantene asserts that women are often negative labels that follow, for example, a man who removes his jacket because he is warm it's well okay, but if a woman does, it is to show themselves.
Another example, a man who works hard at night is seen as a man dedicated, if a woman does, she is selfish because she is not thinking about her family.
As a man, I can only agree with this video. Women often have bad labels that are attached to them when they do mundane things.
I'll go in the extreme: a man who has a lot of partners is seen as cool by his friends, on the other hand, a woman who has a lot of partners is seen as a s***... don't deny it, you know it's true.
